Ridiculous laws? Weird laws? Bizarre laws? It is no strange to have strange laws in a country. We are particularly interested with the unusual laws exist in the North Korea; especially with the recent development of North Korea-United States of America's relationship.
1. Failure to idolize the Kim family, the government or the politicians of North Korea is considered a form of blasphemy and can be met with severe punishment.
2. You are not allowed to drive unless you are a North Korean male government official. If you are not the one and you drive, you are committing a crime.
3. Please do not fall asleep during meeting. The North Korean defense minister was executed with an anti-aircraft gun for having fallen asleep during one of Kim Jong-un's events, which was considered disrespectful.
4. Marijuana's lover? There is actually no law that punishes the trade and consumption of the drug.
5. International calls from North Korea? Better not because death sentence i waiting for those whose making international calls.
6. Jeans are considered a symbol of capitalism and therefore people are not allowed to wear them in North Korea.
7. North Korean can't travel abroad. They are forbidden to do so unless with permission even to the neighboring South Korea.
8. All tourists must be contolled. It is a serious matter. The tourists must abide to specific rules of conduct when visiting North Korea.
9. In North Korea, not everyone entitiled to internet access. Only in some professions is it possible to access websites, and even then it is done under government supervision.
10. Are you getting the haircut? There is a list of haircuts that being allowed in North Korea. You can't simply get any style you desire.
